ADDING SSIS DATA FLOW TASK

The data flow task helps in providing the pipeline between the source and destination.

  1. Select the control flow tab

  1. In the SSIS toolbox pane, expand favourites and drag a data flow task into the design surface

  1. Right click on the dragged data flow chart and click on rename

  1. Rename to ‘Extract Sample Currency Data’

  1. Right click on it and go to properties

  1. The properties will appear at the right lower side, set the LocaleID to English United States from English United Kingdom.

  1. Now right click on the control in the design surface, it will take you to the data flow.
