The Google Analytics Professional Certificate is a highly sought-after credential that demonstrates expertise in web analytics and data analysis. The financial aid program provides eligible candidates with the opportunity to pursue the Google Analytics Professional Certificate at no cost or at a reduced fee. By applying for financial aid, individuals can gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field of digital analytics without the financial burden. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the application process:
- Go to your chrome browser and type in “Coursera.com” in the search bar, and the “Coursera” page will display. On the “Coursera” page type in “Google Data Analytics Professional certificate”.
- And it will display its page.
- On the “Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate” page, there is a yellow button written on it, “Enroll for free”, if you click on it, then you won’t be able to apply for financial aid. Look closely beside the yellow button and you will see “Financial aids available”, click on it.
- A message box will appear.
- On the message box, click on the blue button written on it “Continue to the application”.
- And it will display a new message box.
- The new message has courses listed from one to eight. The system will automatically tick the circle beside the first course there for you (i.e course 1).
- When you are done click “Next” on the message box.
- A new page will appear.
- On the new page you will be required to fil in your information. The first question here says, “What is your highest level of education”. Click on it and a list of options will appear.
- From the list of options click on “College degree”.
- And it will apply.
- Next question says, “What is your annual income?” Go ahead and type in something reasonable since you are applying for financial aid. Type in “20000”.
- On the same box you just typed in “20000” click on the arrow head sign beside it to choose your country currency.
- For the purpose of the class we will choose the Nigerian currency (NGN) and click on it.
- And it will apply.
- The next question says, “What is your employment status?” Click on it and a list of options will appear.
- From the list of options, click on “part time”.
- And it will apply.
- The next question says, “Why are you applying for financial aid?” Here you have to type a minimum of 150 words in the empty big box.
- Go ahead and state your reasons for applying for financial aid. Make sure your reasons are concrete.
- Once you are done, click “Next” on the blue button below.
- It will take you to a new page.
- On the new page you will be asked to answer “Just a few questions”. The first question there says, “How much can you pay for your selected course?” Click on the line with a blue circle head and drag backwards.
- As you drag backwards the number in the box decreases. Drag and leave it at 2.
- The next question says, “how will your selected course help with your goals?’. Enter your reasons in the big empty box.
- Write a minimum of 150 words, giving good reasons how the course will be useful to you. Make sure your reasons are good and considerate enough.
- Next, are “Terms and conditions”.
- Go ahead and tick the two empty boxes below by clicking on them (make sure they turn blue).
- Next instruction says “Please type the following sentence”.
- In the empty box below in this instruction type in “I agree to the terms above”.
- And lastly, click on the empty box beside where it is written “I’m not a robot”.
- And it will apply.
- Once you are done, click on the button written on it “Review”.
- And a new page will display.
- On the new page , click on the blue button below, written on it “submit application”. Once you do this, it will take you to where you can view your financial aids and course outline.
- When you are done go back to the home page and repeat the same process which we just finished doing (mind you, you are to repeat the same process for all the courses from 1 to 8). You don’t have to change your answer. Your answer can be repeated throughout the process.
