5 USEFUL WEBSITE YOU SHOULD KNOW IN 2025

In 2025, having access to the right online tools and resources can greatly impact productivity, learning, and overall quality of life. There are numerous websites that offer a wide range of services, from educational platforms that provide interactive learning experiences to websites that help with tasks such as image and video editing, language translation, and more.

1. There are some useful website that are useful for learning especially at the University level. The first website we are going to talk about here is called “Class-central.com”.

2. Let us try to check the website and see the kind of courses it offers. So, on your browser go to your search bar type in “class-central.com” and press “Enter” on your key board. (Make sure you are connected to internet).

3. When you press “Enter” the website interface will display.

4. From the interface you can see some listed courses which you can choose from. For the purpose of the class we will choose “computer science” and click on it.

5. And it will display.

6. If you scroll down you will see some list of registered courses from different universities.

7. We will go ahead and click on “Machine learning” to preview (mind you, this is just for the class).

8. And it will display after clicking on it.

9. Scroll down and you will see the course “Overview”.

10. After the course “Overview”, you will see the course “Syllabus”.

11. And you can also see the name of the person taking the course (i.e the Lecture). Here, if you look closely you will see “Taught by” Andrew Ng.

12. Here is how to take this free course online. On the, “Machine learning” interface, click on the blue button, written on it, “Go to class”.

13. A message box will appear. Wait for it to load.

14. It will load into another interface.

15. If you are not signed into the course, then go ahead and click on the white button, written on it, “Go to course”.

16. And the interface will display.

17. If you look closely at the interface, at the left hand side you will see a list of weeks of the month outlined accordingly, indicating different number of weeks which you would want to go for the course.

18. The second website here is called “Googleartproject.com”.

19. In the same way go to your browser on your search bar and type “GoogleArt&culture” and press “Enter” on your keyboard.

20. And the website interface will display. On this website you can find Museums, famous paintings, and a lot of Artworks.

21. You can go ahead and click on the “Explore” menu at the navigation bar, at the top right-hand side.

22. And it will display, showing you different historical art works, Museums, historical paintings and so much more concerning art works.

23. On the same navigation bar, at the top-left hand side you can still click on “NearBy”.

24. And it will display. Google will help you locate all the museums and their various locations.

25. Next, we move to the third website which is called “duolingo.com”.

26. Go to your browser and type in “doulingo.com” on your search bar and press “Enter” on your keyboard.

27. And the website interface will display. This website also has an app that you can download from your Playstore. This website helps you to learn different kind of languages.

28. If you look closely you will see some listed things to try out. Let us scroll down and try out the “Greetings”.

29. Wait for it to load.

30. It will lead into a new interface.

31. From the interface you will see that it has displayed a sentence in Spanish for you to translate. If you can’t do that you can move your cursor on the words to help with the translation.

32. For your translation, there are some list of words there for you to choose the correct ones. Just click on the correct ones and they will automatically enter itself.

33. For the purpose of the class and the word in which we are given to translate, the correct translation here is “Fine and you”, so, if you look closely you will see that after clicking on each word they automatically enters as a single sentence (Fine and you).

34. Next, we move to the fourth website which is called “Squoosh.app”.

35. Go to your browser and type in “Squoosh.app” on your search bar and press “Enter”.

36. And the website interface will display. This website can work offline too. This website helps compress images and reduces their sizes.

37. For you to work on an image that is saved on your system, first of all click on the image icon in the middle of the pink round shape object.

38. And your image folder will appear.

39. Click on any image in which you want to work with.

40. Then click “open” on the message box.

41. And the picture will open into the website for you to work on.

42. Click at the bottom of the website, at the right hand side, click on the blue shape carrying a download icon on it.

43. The image name will appear below at the left hand side, carrying an arrow head sign beside it.

44. Click on the arrow head and a message box will appear. On the message box click on “Show folder”.

45. And it will take us to our folder where you will see the new size of the image which the website have just compressed.

46. Next, we move to the fifth website which is called “Canva”.

47. Go to your browser and type in “canva.com” on your search bar and press “Enter” on your keyboard.

48. The interface of the website will display.

49. This website is used by graphic designers to make designs. They also have design templates that you can use as a graphics designer to make your designs.
